We really enjoyed our experience at Kingfisher. I have been a couple times and between both visits we have tried the Grilled Salmon, Grilled Chicken, and Pontchartrain. We had a variety of sides. I especially liked the mashed sweet potatoes. You also get a very nice large dinner salad. You also need to try the Fried Mozzarella appetizer.
The four of us stopped in for dinner one evening about six weeks after they opened. We had crayfish lasagna, baked oysters , fried shrimp, and a salad with grilled shrimp on it. Everybody enjoyed the meal. My only advice is to sit outside if you can I went inside to bathroom and it was really noisy.
A must go place to eat, very comfortable atmosphere with quick and friendly service. Food is masterful with a great menu of options. The negative is parking gets full quickly, positive of that being the food. Highly recommend
First time tying this place and it won’t be my last! I had the pork chop, Mac and cheese, sweet potato mash and bread pudding. Best pork chop and Mac and cheese I’ve probably ever had. The bread pudding was just as good. My server , Clover, was very attentive.
Excellent service and excellent food! I had the pork chop and it was hands down the absolute best pork chop I have ever had at an establishment. My husband had the cheeseburger and macaroni and cheese. I’ve never tasted a macaroni and cheese like theirs. The creamed spinach was just amazing! I had the key lime pie for dessert very delicious. My husband had the bread pudding and it was incredible! The environment was very nice. 10/10 recommend especially for a nice date night!
Had a delightful time at Kingfisher Seafood Restaurant celebrating my bday. If you haven't been to Kingfisher, you are missing out. The food and the service were amazing. The staff was attentive. The food came out hot and fresh. Everything, and I mean Everything, we ate was sooooooo delicious. Our server Liam was delightful! We'll definitely be back .
Wonderful dining experience! We were quoted 40 minutes at 06:45 PM on a Friday night (granted, it was the night of the local prom). We probably ended up waiting about 20 minutes. It was difficult to find parking, having to circle around for a solid 5-10 minutes to find a spot. We sat outside where there was a good ambiance. Only compliant is that for a group of four, the tables are WAY too small. Most tables ended up having to put their caddy’s containing the salt, pepper, and other things on the floor. There was no room for our pre-meal salads and appetizer plates. My group ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was wonderful. The salad was amazing, the house dressing is a pepper jelly vinaigrette and I could see myself coming for just the salad. My meal of shrimp and grits was delicious, as was my partners cheeseburger. The other people in our party order the ribeye and andouille-crusted fish, both of which they stated were “okay”. Our friend said the ribeye at a restaurant such as Longhorns was better, and the fish lacked flavor, along with the side jambayala. This is probably our new favorite restaurant in Fairhope (sorry Locals). Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and I’m very excited to go back!
Everything was excellent! From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere. We had a decent size family dinner and got to try several things on the menu. The traditional oysters, sauteed crabfingers, onion rings, crawfish etouffee, hush puppies, chicken & sausage jambalaya, ceaser salad, mac & cheese, and T-bird sandwich were ALL delicious! Definitely worth trying!
